Mason Inman

Author of The Oracle of Oil

I wrote the first biography of geologist M. King Hubbert, often called “the father of peak oil” for his predictions of when oil production—in the U.S. and globally—would reach a peak. He was also a pioneer in examining limits to growth and arguing for a transition to a truly sustainable society that could last hundreds or even thousands of years. It was published on April 11, 2016, by W. W. Norton.
