Climate Poll Survey

More than one-quarter of childless adults say climate change is a factor in why they do not have children, a Morning Consult survey found. Climate was a more prevalent factor for younger adults and people of color. When present with a list of concerns, 37% of Gen Z and 34% of millennials said climate was a reason why they did not have children. One-fifth of each group said it was a major reason. Among Hispanic adults, 41% said climate change was a reason they did not have children, as did 30% of Black adults. (Morning Consult, The Hill)
