The House Natural Resources Committee subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations may subpoena FTI Consulting if the fossil fuel industry’s public relations firm continues to stonewall the committee’s investigation into their clients’ deception of the public with regards to climate change. The letter sent by Committee Chair Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and subcommittee chair Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) set an August 24 deadline to provide information on their work for clients in the coal, oil, and gas industries. (E&E $)
