Hurricane Zeta weakened after hitting the Yucatan Peninsula Tuesday, but restrengthened into a hurricane early Wednesday morning. The storm is expected to further intensify today and make landfall as a Category 2 storm near New Orleans Wednesday afternoon, bringing life-threatening storm surge of as much as nine feet in some places.
